Micro Tales #3
“Always be a little kinder than necessary”- James M. Barrie
Giving back is important because it helps us to connect with others and making a positive difference in the world. Likewise acts of generosity have significant impact on others .
This was 6 years back when I had visited Delhi ,a family trip during December. On the first day we went to visit to Taj Mahal as its nearby place to visit from Delhi. On the second day we explored the places within the city .We all were very tired and hungry, so we stopped by a place to have food. Suddenly on the side of the road I saw a woman even in the dim light of day I saw she needed help. I could see she was frightened standing out there in the cold
Even with the smile on her face she was worried. She looked poor and hungry. So, I asked my parents if she could join us in the restaurant and they said yes. She was not ready but somehow, we convinced her, and she came along with us. She asked if she could buy anything for her children, so we packed food them also.
We also bought clothes and blankets for her family as it was very chilly. The family was very happy blessed my family with sweet words and blessings.
There are many more stories but this is one of the best in my life. I would never forget that trip to Delhi which changed my life and the moment when I helped the woman was very much overwhelming which I would never forget in my life.
The satisfaction which we get when we help others is really a feeling which can’t be expressed in words. Helping others doesn’t make the world better it also makes you better.
Helping others is one of the simplest ways to fill our life with joy and fulfillment.
“Kindness is free. Sprinkle it everywhere”.
The purpose of life is not be happy.
It is to be useful, to be honorable, to be compassionate, to have it make some differences that you have lived and lived well.
