Curtain Hug

Once I was going to my village from my native city, Kannauj, and on my way, I found a gentleman of age around fifty standing out there on the side of the highway. I approached him to enquire if he wanted a lift. It sweltered that day and he was profusely sweating. I went up to him and offered him a lift. The smile that he cracked was such a delight to see. It is unexplainable. I had never done such an act before (offer a lift to a stranger). It made me feel amazing as I did something nice for a person in need. He had to go somewhere near my village. So I dropped him there.
A feeling of satisfaction consumed my body for that entire day. It made me feel proud as a human being. I don’t even remember his face now, but I remember how he had thanked me and blessed me.
