Curtain Hug

I was driving my car in a remote village when I saw an old lady stranded on the side of the road. I saw that she needed help. So I stopped my car near her Mercedes and got out. She seemed to be a bit tense and worried when she saw me approaching as nobody had stopped for her in hours. I smiled and tried to calm her.
“Hey, I am Arun. Don’t worry, I am just here to help.”
The tire was flat. While changing the tire, I got dirty and my hands were hurt.
When the job was done, she asked how much she owed me for my help. I smiled and said: “If you really want to pay me back, the next time you see someone who needs help, give that person the needed assistance.”
At the same evening, the lady stopped by a cafe. I was also there with my friends. Then she with the cashier. The cashier was a young pregnant lady. She had spent the entire day on foot and even assisted the customers when they needed help. The old lady gave the stool to the young lady with a letter. After reading it, she started crying.
Later I found out that the old lady was the owner of the cafe. And the old lady had given her bonus payment for her hard work with a note: “You don‘t own me anything. Somebody once helped me, just like now I‘m helping you. If you really want to pay me back, do not let this chain of love end with you”.
